Kiwanis Donates For Souper Bowl of Caring Event (AUDIO INCLUDED)

Pastor Tom Austin (left) representing the Mission House from the The First Baptist Church of Okeechobee accepts a donation from Kiwanis Club of Okeechobee President Don Hanna as part of the annual Souper Bowl of Caring Food Drive on February 4th.

The Kiwanis Club participated in the annual Souper Bowl of Caring, a nationwide initiative to collect food and money to help with hunger relief. This event is held the week prior to the Super Bowl.

Locally the Kiwanis Club has been involved in this event for over 20 years collecting food and money to donate to local food banks.

This year the club donated over $500 worth of food and money to The Mission House of the First Baptist Church of Okeechobee.
