Okeechobee Utility Authority (OUA) Executive Director John Hayford spoke to the Kiwanis Club of Okeechobee touching on a wide range of water-related topics. Hayford spoke mainly of an overview of the services OUA provides as far as residential and commercial function.

Hayford talked about current and future projects such as the South West service area under design which transitions into the Okee Tantie development. He also spoke about the status of the Treasure Island project and his future hopes.

The Kiwanis Club of Okeechobee is a youth service organization dedicated to improving the lives of children in our community. The club meets every Thursday at noon in the back room at Lakeside Grill.
