Stuart Reflects on CWS Super Regional Experience (AUDIO INCLUDED)

Okeechobee High School 2017 Alum Baron Stuart joined The Sports Grill on WOKC to talk about his experience pitching for the University of South Florida Bulls baseball team during their historic run to the College Baseball Super Regionals. The Bulls made a late season run to win the Conference USA tournament earning them a spot in the College Baseball tournament. In the Regionals the Bulls upset the Florida Gators and defeated South Alabama to earn a spot in the Super Regionals versus the number 2 team in the country Texas Longhorns. The Bulls fell two games to zero but Stuart pitched a scoreless inning of relief in the second game retiring the Longhorns in just six pitches.

Stuart was a three-year varsity letterman for baseball at Okeechobee. He went a combined 14-5 with a 1.51 ERA and finished with a 6-2 record and a 0.89 ERA as a senior. Stuart was a scholar athlete all three years.
