July 13, 2023, members of the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force, Sheriff’s Special Response Team (SRT), United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents, and Homeland Security Investigations members conducted a probable cause narcotic search warrant at 656 N.E. 13TH Avenue, apartment #6, Okeechobee, Florida.
The target of this investigation was Lavoski Jackson (44). Jackson is not a stranger to our office or task force, having approximately 42 felony arrests and 14 felony convictions.
Jackson was detained just outside of the apartment.
At the same time, Terry T. Moore (51) and Henry Futch (46) were found in the apartment.
Terry Moore receives “second place” in the trio with (28) twenty-eight felony charges and (16) sixteen felony convictions.
Moore has been arrested for such charges as Burglary, Robbery, Aggravated Battery with a Firearm, False Imprisonment, Resisting Arrest w/o Violence, Battery on correction staff, Lewd and Lascivious, and numerous narcotic-related charges.
On top of all this, Moore is a registered sexual offender.
Henry Futch has been arrested here in Florida and Kentucky for Burglary, Contributing to the delinquency of a minor, Aggravated Battery with a Weapon, Disorderly Conduct, and other drug-related charges. Futch has (6) six felony charges and numerous misdemeanor charges but has no felony convictions yet.
Inside the apartment, along with Futch and Moore, were assorted amounts of Cocaine, “Molly” (MDPV), Dilaudid (Hydromorphone), and drug paraphernalia.
Approximately 85.8 grams of MDPV mixed with Cocaine was in one area. In another area, an additional 15.0 grams of MDPV was mixed with Cocaine, and another 5.6 grams (in the form of 27 pills) of Hydromorphone (Dilaudid) was found with it.
Additionally, U.S. currency, drug paraphernalia, digital scales, and numerous empty Ziplock-style miniature baggies commonly used for packaging narcotics were found next to the 15 grams mentioned above; all are consistent with trafficking.
Jackson was arrested for Trafficking in Cocaine, Trafficking in MDPV, and Trafficking in Hydromorphone.
Moore was arrested for Trafficking of Hydromorphone, Possession of Cocaine with intent to sell, and Possession of MDPV with intention to sell.
Futch was arrested for Trafficking of Hydromorphone, Possession of Cocaine with intent to sell, and Possession of MDPV with intention to sell.
All three are currently in the Okeechobee County Detention Facility.
