OHS Hires New Football Coach (AUDIO INCLUDED)

New Brahman Football Coach William “BJ” Pryor

Okeechobee named a new head football coach this week. His name is William “BJ” Pryor. He comes to Okeechobee from Texas.

Coach Pryor has 26 years of coaching experience in every level of the game from middle school to the Semi-Pros. He has 12 high school state playoff runs and a Mississippi State Championship on his resume. He has coached football in Louisiana, Mississippi, Minnesota, and more recently in Texas where he is from.

In his first interview on WOKC, Coach Pryor talks about his coaching career, what has made him successful in the past, why he wanted to come to Okeechobee and his future plans with the program.

WOKC Radio has been the home to Brahman Football for nearly 55 years and will once again broadcast every game home and away for the upcoming 2022 football season.
