News Cast for April 25th:

Port St. Lucie Police announced an arrest in a triple-fatal homicide that was alcohol related from March 15.

Among the dead was 18-year-old Jimmie Dale Brown of Okeechobee.

The driver, Dylan Ray Boully, 19, of Okeechobee, faced three charges of vehicular homicide, three counts of DUI manslaughter, DUI with serious bodily injury, and reckless driving causing serious bodily injury.

He was held on $320,000 bond.

Police Chief Richard Del Toro, Jr. said his department and investigators talked to the families involved to let them know the developments in the case. He said the families were very supportive of the investigation and glad an arrest was made.

Boully had a blood alcohol level of .161, more than twice the legal limit in Florida, when tested at the hospital after the crash, Del Toro said.

The crash also injured 17 year old Lia Marie Tucker.

The chief said the pickup truck, owned by Boully’s father, was a work truck. He said it was travelling between 75 and 82 miles per hour when it impacted with a tree. The three victims died instantly.

The Indiantown Village Council welcomed the ribbon cutting of the Terra Lago housing development.

The 800-acre project is expected to include 2,500 new housing units.

The developer plans to build town houses, single family homes, an assisted living facility a community center and a shopping center.

The townhouses are priced at $200,000 and above and the new homes will be $300,000 and above.

The council voted to expand bus service to Stuart for Sundays. They currently run only on Saturday.

The council also approved the rezoning and annexation of 116 acres on Citrus Blvd, for the Indiantown Shipyard.

Okeechobee County plans to add more plots at Evergreen Cemetery.

They are also going to pave some of the streets inside the Cemetery in the next few months.
