Nine-year-old Ella Vinson was seriously injured in a car accident on Sept. 1. She was life-flighted to a children’s trauma center and has been in and out of ICU in the hospital ever since.
Doctors found her right lung had collapsed, and her pancreas was severely damaged causing pancreatitis and pneumonia. She has been through multiple surgeries and painful procedures but still has a smile on her face. “Through the pain and fear she can still smile. She’s so strong just like her aunt,” said her aunt Brenda Corage.
Ella will be transferred to the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital sometime this week, because she needs a surgery that they don’t have the technology to do where she is now.
Her aunt started a GoFundMe to help the family with some of the costs involved such as travel expenses, time off from work and various other expenses. https://gofund.me/b178f426
“We are blessed to have this community of love and prayer around us. Thank you! Said Ella’s mom Karen. “She is still very sick and her pancreas is still badly damaged but everything else seems to be improving and healing. Praise the Lord! Continue to pray for Ella. We truly appreciate all the love and support from all of you. Thank you!”
