On August 31, 2023, the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit’s Pet Therapy Program expanded into Okeechobee County in support of the circuit’s Early Childhood Court. The Nineteenth Judicial Circuit is partnered with the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast and Misty’s Pals to provide therapy dogs to attendees of Early Childhood Court hearings. Therapy dog, Tansy is a Boykin Spaniel who brought smiles to everyone in the courtroom!
